Privacy Policy for Yaimamess Knot

The short version

Yaimamess Knot does not collect any information about you. Nothing you enter leaves your device. There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you put into Yaimamess Knot — your yarn, your projects, your patterns, your photos, your notes — is saved only in the app's own storage on your own phone or tablet. It is never uploaded anywhere. We cannot see it, and neither can anyone else.

If you delete the app, that information is deleted with it. Use the app's own Backup option in Settings if you want to keep a copy.

Camera and photo access

The app asks permission to use your camera and photo library so that you can attach a picture to a yarn or a project, and so that you can photograph a yarn label for the app to read. Those photos are saved with your entry on your device and are never sent anywhere. The label text is read on your device.

You can say no to either permission and the rest of the app will still work normally.

Information we collect

None. The app has no internet connection built into it at all, so there is no mechanism by which your information could be sent to us or to anybody else.

Children

Yaimamess Knot is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
